Interaction
Features
  • Drag Mode (default):
    You can pull the map in any direction you want by simply dragging the screen. In order to zoom in or out smoothly you have to click on the zoom bottons on the left and right bottom area, or, just roll your trackball up or down.
  • Rubberband Mode:
    Simply tap the screen to reposition the map center. In order to zoom into a given region you draw a rectangle from the upper left to lower right screen corner. In order to zoom out you draw the rectangle in the opposite way, from the lower right to the upper left screen corner
  • Buttons
    Use image buttons to zoom in and out continously, rotate your map, align map to north or compass heading

Pedestrian Maps
Features
  • Pedestrian Maps:
    Foot maps are optimzed for pedestrians and highlight features and attributes which are relevant for traveling by foot.
  • Countour Lines:
    Droyd SDK includes map themes and API calls for rendering topographic contour lines. This terrain view is great for outdoor activities and destinations. Elevation data is stored in additional SMD files stored on your local storage card.
