GPS Trajectory Compression
MicroMap includes an advanced GPS compression module to read raw GPS data records (e.g formatted as raw NMEA, GPX, etc.) and encode them into a highly compressed binary format. With our current software version we can put up to 5 GPS records (given real-world vehicle trajectories) into one single byte

As you can read from the table above, a one year non-stop drive required a memory footprint of approx. 5 MBytes.
- Compression and decompression library written in C,C++ or Java
- Minimal memory foorprint and CPU usage
- Customizable accuracy
- Stores longitude, latitude and date/time
